Eight Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in Gaza
Eight Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Gaza City and Khan Younis on Sunday morning, as artillery shelling and demolitions continued in several areas of the Gaza Strip, triggering a new wave of displacement.
Medical sources reported that six Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Two others, including a pregnant woman, were injured when Israeli military vehicles opened direct fire at tents sheltering displaced Palestinians near the Shuja'iyya intersection, east of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continued shelling eastern areas of Khan Younis, while Israeli forces continued demolitions in the eastern part of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
Witnesses reported a new wave of displacement in areas west of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, as Israeli forces advanced to within approximately 10 meters of Salah al-Din Street.
