University admission applications open for children of Jordanian mothers
The electronic application process for the children of Jordanian mothers married to non-Jordanians began on Sunday through the Unified Admission Coordination Unit's website and will continue until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Applications are limited to students who meet the admission requirements for Jordanian public universities and who obtained their Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) for the first time in the 2026 summer session or the 2025 supplementary session. Applicants must also hold the identification card issued by the Civil Status and Passports Department for children of Jordanian mothers.
Meanwhile, applications for transfers between majors and universities for students benefiting from the Royal Scholarship for children of tribes in Badia schools and schools with special circumstances will open on Monday and continue until 3:00 p.m. on October 1.
Transfer requests cover all majors except Medicine, Dentistry, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy, in line with the competitive admission minimum grades for the scholarship program for the 2026-2027 academic year. The unit will announce the names of students who meet the minimum grade requirements for their desired majors, subject to available vacancies.
