Gaza death toll rises to 73,454 amid continued Israeli attacks
The death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,454 Palestinians, with 174,486 others injured since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources in Gaza.
The sources said Gaza hospitals received five bodies and 14 injured Palestinians over the past 24 hours.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the death toll has risen to 1,318, while 4,375 Palestinians have been injured. A total of 815 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
A number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews remain unable to reach and recover, the sources added.
