Ammon News : Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya has approved on Monday the completion of procedures by administrative governors for the release of 436 administrative detainees.

The decision, which came after a review of the nature of their cases and deciding that prison terms spent were enough, is to give them the opportunity to reintegrate into society and lead normal lives with families, according to a statement.

The decision also reinforces the ministry’s humanitarian approach to administrative detention, in line with the safeguards stipulated by law, while ensuring that legal and security measures remain in place to curb the criminal activities of dangerous individuals.
