Labor Ministry urges employers to legalize foreign workers by Sept. 30
The Ministry of Labor called on employers and homeowners across all economic sectors to regularize the status of non-Jordanian workers, including domestic staff, before Sept. 30, 2026.
Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Zyoud announced that the grace period will officially close at the end of next month.
Inspection teams across all governorates intensified field sweeps to identify and deport undocumented workers, Zyoud noted.
Starting Oct. 1, 2026, the ministry will automatically issue electronic deportation flags against any non-Jordanian worker whose status remains unresolved.
