PSD prepares comprehensive plan to ensure smooth Jerash Festival experience
Public Security Director Maj. Gen. Obaidullah Maayta on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review security and traffic plans for the 40th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts.
The meeting, attended by senior Public Security officers at the Directorate headquarters, discussed operational and logistical preparations to ensure the festival’s security and facilitate the movement of visitors.
Maayta said the Public Security Directorate (PSD) has completed preparations for the event, stressing the importance of coordination among its various units and festival organizers to ensure effective security and traffic management.
He directed relevant units to enhance their presence at festival venues and utilize available technologies and logistical resources to facilitate visitors’ access to events.
The meeting concluded with a briefing by the Northern Region Security Commander on security deployments, traffic arrangements and the readiness of field units.
