Death toll in Gaza rises to 73,098 since beginning of Israeli aggression
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,098 Palestinians, with 173,571 others injured since October 7, 2023.
According to the sources, hospitals across the Gaza Strip received five bodies over the past 24 hours, including three newly recovered victims, in addition to seven people injured.
The sources added that since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11 last year, the death toll has reached 1,072, while the number of injuries has risen to 3,463. They noted that 799 bodies have also been recovered during the same period.
Medical sources stressed that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.
