Trump says Iran has agreed not to have a nuclear weapon
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Iran had agreed not to have a nuclear weapon.
Trump talked to U.S. podcast host Miranda Devine in an interview being broadcast on YouTube, and noted that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was involved in negotiations with the United States.
“They’ve already agreed they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said.
Iran has always denied seeking a nuclear weapon, saying its atomic programme is for peaceful purposes only.
