Death toll in Gaza surges to 72,763 amid ongoing Israeli genocide
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 72,763, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 172,664 others have also been injured.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
Medical sources said that during the past 24 hours, one slain Palestinian and 16 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, the number of those killed and injured has reached 881 and 2,621, respectively. At least 776 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
