Jordanian, Australian military officials discuss cooperation
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday received Australia’s Chief of Joint Operations Vice Admiral Justin Jones and an accompanying delegation.
Huneiti and Jones discussed military cooperation and joint coordination between the armed forces of the two countries, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields in service of shared interests.
The meeting, attended by several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces and the Australian military attaché in Amman, also covered several issues of mutual interest, particularly training and the exchange of military expertise.
Jones commended the advanced level reached by the Jordan Armed Forces, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen military cooperation with the Jordanian Army.
