Jordan, Egypt stress diplomacy to consolidate US-Iran ceasefire
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed in a phone call on Tuesday with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Badr Abdelatty efforts to build on the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran in order to reach a lasting solution addressing the root causes of previous tensions while respecting international law and state sovereignty.
The two ministers also stressed the importance of activating diplomacy and dialogue to end regional escalation and restore security and stability across the region.
