Gaza death toll rises to 72,594 amid ongoing Israeli attacks
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,594, with 172,404 injured since October 7, 2023, medical sources announced on Tuesday.
Local health authorities reported that hospitals across Gaza received one killed person and five injured over the past 24 hours.
They added that since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, the number of people killed has reached 818, while injuries have risen to 2,301, and 762 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
Medical teams also reported that many victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets, amid continued difficulties for ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them due to ongoing conditions on the ground.
