FM, Qatari PM discuss regional de-escalation after US-Iran talks
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Monday discussed, in a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the regional developments and prospects for de-escalation following the US-Iranian negotiations hosted by Islamabad, Pakistan.
The call was part of ongoing coordination and consultation between the two countries on ways to end the dangerous escalation in the region and restore security and stability.
