Iranian missiles strike Haifa as massive explosions rock Tehran
As the US-Israeli war on Iran enters its 6th week, amid anticipation of crucial hours ahead, multiple Iranian regions witnessed strikes and raids on Monday.
Israel's army said Monday it had completed a wave of strikes against 'regime targets' in Tehran
'A short while ago the army completed a wave of strikes on Iranian terror regime targets in Tehran,' the Israeli military posted on Telegram.
It came after Iranian media reported attacks on residential areas in Tehran early Monday.
Iranian media reported that at least 13 killed in an air strike that hit building in a city southwest of Iran's capital, Tehran.
In addition, gas outages hit parts of Tehran after a strike on a university, Iran's state broadcaster reported on Monday.
The attack 'hit the Sharif University gas station and we are facing a temporary gas outage in the Sharif neighbourhood,' state broadcaster IRIB quoted the head of Tehran's District 9 neighbourhood as saying.
In Israel, the bodies of two people were recovered from under the rubble at the site of an Iranian ballistic missile impact in Haifa, rescue services said early Monday, as a fresh barrage targeting the same area lightly wounded four people and caused additional damage.
The Fire and Rescue Service said that following hours of efforts alongside the Home Front Command, forces “rescued two trapped individuals who were found under the rubble without signs of life.”
