U.S. Ambassador visits "Ammon News and Radio Noon"
U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtsnider paid a visit on Monday to Al Abdali Media Company and Noon Radio Broadcasting Company, where he met with Ammon News Agency Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Samir Al-Hyari, the editorial management, and the staff.
During the visit, Ambassador Holtsnider and Al-Hyari discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the cultural, creative and media sectors.
The ambassador was briefed on the history of Ammon News Agency, which is marking its 20th anniversary this year as Jordan’s first online newspaper, and on its role in promoting openness and media freedom alongside other professional institutions.
He also reviewed the longstanding brotherly relations between Jordan and the United States.
Ambassador Holtsnider toured the various departments of the Ammon News Agency and reviewed the studios of Ammon and Radio Noon, along with their programming content and the drone photography and artistic production units, praising the advanced professional performance of Jordan’s media and journalism sector.
