The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) announced that the low-pressure system affecting parts of the Kingdom began impacting areas on Sunday.
The JMD stated that the low-pressure system began affecting northern regions of the Kingdom, with Irbid Governorate experiencing rainfall after 8:00 AM.
The rain is expected to be heavy at times for short periods in limited areas of northern Jordan and the northeastern desert, possibly accompanied by thunder and hail. Light rain is also expected in parts of the southwestern regions during the evening hours. Winds will be moderate westerly, becoming gusty at times.
