U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz visited the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) warehouse to see the vital work Jordanian and UN partners are doing to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, particularly as winter approaches.
The United States is proud to support Jordan’s efforts to address urgent needs and save lives as part of President Trump’s 20pt Plan for Peace, Waltz noted.
In a video posted on his official X account, Waltz said: 'We're thankful to our partnership with Jordan, and seeing all of these supplies provided by the United States, tents, shelters, tarps, medical supplies, food stuffs and flour, and other needs, to provide the basic needs for the Palestinian people.'
'Thankfully, we finally have the ceasefire in place, we have the hostages released, and we're ready to move forward with the rebuilding of Gaza, the provision of security, and providing the humanitarian, not only the life-saving humanitarian goods, but eventually getting to the rebuilding that absolutely need,' the Ambassador added.
