Monday, gold prices in the local market soared to highest level, after increasing by 70 piasters per gram, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold recorded JD76.50 per gram, while the purchase price is JD74.00.
Meanwhile, the selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD87.40 and JD67.70 respectively.
The price of 14-karat gold per gram reached JD51.60.
