Two rockets fired from Gaza towards Ashdod were intercepted
The Israeli occupation army on Sunday morning intercepted two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at the city of Ashdod and its surrounding areas.
The Israeli army stated that the two rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.
No reports of injuries or damage had been received so far, the army added.
Israeli occupation spokesman said that following the alerts that were activated earlier in the Lachish and Ashdod area, two launches were detected from the northern Gaza Strip. The Air Force intercepted one target, and the second launch fell in an open area. No casualties were reported, in accordance with policy.
