Saturday, the price of gold in local market increased by 40 piasters, setting a new record, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold recorded JD73.80 per gram, while the purchase price is JD71.60.
Meanwhile, the selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD84.50 and JD65.40 respectively.
The price of 14-karat gold per gram reached JD49.80.
