A South Korean YouTuber has died just days after stating he hadn't been getting much sleep recently after attending Seoul Fashion Week, according to local media reports.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, YouTuber Na Dong-hyun, 46 — who has 1.46 million subscribers on his @BuzzBean11 account — was discovered deceased at his home in eastern Seoul, outlets including The Korea Herald, The Chosun Ilbo and The Korea Times reported, citing police.
Local police and fire authorities had been dispatched to Na's residence at around 8:40 a.m. local time in the Gwangjin District after a friend had said he'd failed to show up for a scheduled meeting and was unreachable, per The Korea Herald.
The content creator was found dead at the property and no suicide note or signs of violence were discovered at the scene, the outlet noted.
It's believed Na died from natural causes, The Korea Times stated, adding that an autopsy had been requested to confirm the cause of death.
Police are also going to investigate the possibility of a pre-existing illness, according to The Chosun Ilbo.
