Local gold market records sharp rise, prices up 60 piasters
Saturday, the price of gold in local market increased significantly by 60 piasters, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold recorded JD72.40 per gram, while the purchase price is JD69.90.
Meanwhile, the selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD82.40 and JD64.80 respectively.
The price of 14-karat gold per gram reached JD48.80.
