JSO records 3.4-magnitude earthquake on Iraqi-Syrian border
President of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) Ghassan Sweidan, said that the observatory recorded an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck the border area between Iraq and Syria on Thursday morning.
Sweidan confirmed to 'Ammon News' that the earthquake occurred inside Iraqi territory, approximately 50 km east of Deir Ezzor, at 5:30 am.
