Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand expressed her gratitude to Jordan for its continued support in facilitating the flow of Canadian humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, noting that nine tons of aid entered the Strip on Thursday.
In a post on her official X account, Anand said: 'Canadian aid continues to enter Gaza. We are doing everything possible to ensure that essential aid is being delivered to Palestinians who so desperately need it. We continue to call on the Government of Israel to unblock land access completely so that aid can flow uninhibited.'
'Thank you to the Kingdom of Jordan and Ayman safadi for continued support in facilitating the flow of Canadian humanitarian aid, including 9 tons today,' the Minister added.
