Occupation announces intention to establish new settlement in Jordan Valley
The Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom revealed that the Jordan Valley Regional Council and the New Watchman organization are currently working to establish a new settlement in the Jordan Valley, near the Argaman settlement.
The newspaper reported that the first meeting of the founding nucleus of the Giv'onit settlement was held yesterday evening, Tuesday, a new settlement scheduled to be established in the Jordan Valley in 2026.
The meeting included a tour of the construction site, an inspection, and a meeting with the council head and representatives of the settlement department.
