Jordan issues 32,000 work permits to Syrian refugees in 2025
The number of work permits granted to Syrian refugees in Jordan from the beginning of 2025 until the end of May amounted to 32,160 permits, including 5,818 permits during May, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Data reported by Al-Mamlaka reported that January 2025 recorded the highest number of permits granted, at 12,112, while the number declined in February to 3,190, then to 2,499 in March, then rose to 8,541 in April, and then to 5,818 in May.
