Gov't extends tickets exemption from Aqaba Airport for 3 years
The Cabinet, in its session held Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, approved extended the decision exempting airline tickets from the special tax for three years for airlines operating from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.
The decision aims to encourage tourism to the Kingdom, particularly to the city of Aqaba, and attract more airlines, which will increase the number of tourists and their average stay in the Kingdom by reducing flight costs, contributing to the tourism sector and enhancing its contribution to the national economy.
