FM: We do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons, we condemn Israeli aggression
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi said on Wednesday that the priority is to stop the escalation between Israel and Iran.
This war will not achieve security or peace for either party, Safadi noted.
During a joint press conference with his German counterpart in Berlin, Safadi added that a war between Israel and Iran would lead to further conflict in the region, with serious repercussions for the entire world.
Safadi reiterated Jordan's rejection of the Israeli aggression against Iran, describing it as a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy.
'We all agree that we do not want Iran to possess a nuclear weapon,' Safadi stated.
