Historic surge: Gold prices rise by JD1.20 in local market
Thursday, the price of gold in local market increased by JD1.20 to record a historic surge, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold is JD63.50 per gram, while the purchase price is JD61.50, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).
The selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD73.00 and JD56.50 respectively.
The price of a gram of 14-karat gold reached JD42.90.
