Petroleum Refinery: 1.2 million LPG cylinders filled during depression
More than 1.2 million gas cylinders were filled at Jordan's three main stations during the depression that affected the kingdom up until Monday, said the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, and assured of a 'large and safe' stock at its various distribution points.
The filling was as follows: 205,715 cylinders on Wednesday, 229,448 Thursday, 192,879 Friday, 195,492 Saturday, 187,474 Sunday, and 199,300 on Monday, the company said in a statement.
The company's three main gas filling stations in Amman, Zarqa and Irbid are operating at full capacity around the clock, including holidays, if needed, to meet the country's needs, said its spokesman Haidar Bashaireh.
He pledged the company will raise its readiness during severe weather conditions, assuring of large quantities of all oil derivatives, i.e. kerosene, diesel, 90-octane gasoline, as well as liquefied gas produced by the company or is imported. Petra
