Jordan sends fleet of planes carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza
Under royal directives, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), dispatched on Tuesday a squadron of military aircraft loaded with essential aid for the people of the Gaza Strip.
The squadron consists of 16 aircraft loaded with humanitarian aid that will be delivered to international humanitarian organizations in the Gaza Strip and to Jordanian field hospitals in the Strip.
The airlift coincides with a land bridge that started from Jordan to the Gaza Strip via the King Hussein Bridge and then to the Karam Abu Salem crossing.
Aircraft representing a 'humanitarian airlift' took off from the warehouses of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in Al-Ghabawi, as this is not the first time that Jordan has operated humanitarian bridge flights to the Gaza Strip.
JHCO has repeatedly stressed that, in accordance with royal directives, it continues to coordinate with the relevant authorities to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, with the aim of meeting urgent humanitarian needs and supporting those affected by the war.
