AMMONNEWS - The Senate on Thursday approved the 2018 Civil Retirement Law as referred from the Lower House of Parliament.
Under the amendments to the said law, the Upper Chamber approved the 10-year qualifying service for Cabinet members to get a lifetime pension.
The Lower House informed the Senate of scrapping the provision that blocks reappointment of a retiree with 'partial' or 'full' disability at public institutions.
The Senate also approved a provision to calculate service at 'constitutional institutions' in the ministers' pension.
