AMMONNEWS - Israel hammered out US-brokered "peace deals" with the UAE and Bahrain in Washington, D.C Tuesday.

US President Donald Trump said "We reached a peace deal in a month... the three countries will exchange ambassadors and cooperate among each other as friendly nations."

Netanyahu called the agreements "a pivot of history" that "heralds a new dawn of peace."

"The announcement that supports peace between Bahrain and Israel is a historic step on the way toward perpetual peace," said Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's foreign affairs minister.

In turn, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, said "Today, we extend the hand of peace and receive the hand of peace.. peace will change the Middle East and will enable us to further help the Palestinians."
