Razzaz said the government is pressing ahead with implementing measures aimed to combat tax and customs-related evasion, calling on citizens to report any "susceptible" corruption cases or a public money waste offense to the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC), or through the platform "Bekhidmatikum" ("At Your Service" in Arabic) designed to deal with complaints and inquiries of citizens who flock public departments and institutions seeking to complete a specific transaction.

During the meeting, Minister of Finance, Muhammad Al-Issis, said the ministry's efforts, made through its Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD) and Jordan Customs Department (JCD), seek to strengthen the tax collection procedures from all taxable sectors and reducing tax and customs-based evasion.

In turn, the supervisory institutions' chiefs reviewed the procedures eyeing to "fortify" and preserve public money by tightening procedures related to tax collection and reducing customs and tax evasion.
