Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived at the Parliament at 12:30 p.m. on Monday to inaugurate the Parliament’s third ordinary session with the Royal Throne Speech.
Upon the King’s arrival at the Parliament courtyard, accompanied by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, a 21-gun salute was fired in honor of His Majesty.
The Jordanian Armed Forces band played the Royal Anthem, after which the King inspected the guard of honor assembled to welcome him.
The King was received upon arrival by the heads of the three branches of government, along with senior civilian and military officials.
