Ammon News - Traffic departments announced that 350,000 vehicles underwent technical inspections during the first week of the annual winter vehicle inspection campaign, as part of efforts to enhance road safety, ensure vehicles are roadworthy, and reduce accidents caused by technical malfunctions, particularly as winter approaches.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) had launched its annual winter campaign to assess vehicles' technical readiness, including the condition of tires, lights, windshield wipers, brakes, and other essential components that affect driving safety.

The campaign aims to reduce traffic accidents and strengthen compliance with safety requirements, safeguarding the lives of drivers and other road users.
