Ammon News - A man was killed and two others injured after an unidentified object exploded inside a house in eastern Amman on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the East Amman Police Directorate received a report around midday about an explosion inside a house. Police officers rushed to the scene and found that the homeowner had died and his daughter and granddaughter had been injured after an unidentified object exploded among a collection of scrap items he had gathered.

The spokesperson said the two injured were taken to hospital in moderate condition, while the body was evacuated and an investigation into the incident was launched.
