Ammon News - Lebanon's military judiciary questioned Suleiman Hilal al-Assad, a cousin of ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and issued an arrest warrant against him, Lebanese MTV reported.
Government Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Claude Ghanem had charged Suleiman Assad and Ali Zaiter, son of drug dealer Nouh Zaiter, with arms trafficking and drug use, according to MTV.
The military judiciary questioned Suleiman Assad and Zaiter over the arms trafficking case and referred the drug-use case to the Anti-Narcotics Bureau, MTV said, adding that the Lebanese Army Intelligence also seized a large quantity of weapons from the detainees.
