Ammon News - Chairman of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee Ahmad Malkawi on Thursday approved a series of wide-ranging administrative changes at the Greater Amman Municipality.

Under the changes, Deputy City Manager for Planning Ziad Abu Orabi was transferred to serve as an adviser at the office of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee Chairman.

Information Technology Director Sultan Al-Kharabsheh was also transferred to serve as an adviser at the chairman’s office.

Adel Al-Suhaiba was appointed Deputy City Manager for Planning, replacing Abu Arabi, while Mohammad Al-Huwaiyan was appointed Director of Information Technology, replacing Al-Kharabsheh.

Ammon News reported on Wednesday that Deputy City Manager for Financial Affairs Samer Yassin had been referred to retirement at his own request, with Ibrahim Al-Zyoud appointed as his successor. Khaldoun Mareesh was also appointed Executive Director of the municipality’s Finance Sector, replacing Al-Zyoud.
