Ammon News - The Northern Military Zone foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual on Tuesday evening along one of the border frontiers after Jordanian Border Guard Forces detected the person attempting to cross the border illegally.

Border Guard Forces dealt with the infiltrator in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement, successfully apprehended the individual, and referred them to the relevant authorities for legal action.

The Jordan Armed Forces affirmed that Border Guard Forces continue to carry out their duties with vigilance and firmness as part of their responsibility to protect the Kingdom’s borders, safeguard its sovereignty, and confront any infiltration attempts or illegal activities that may threaten national security and stability.
