Ammon News - The Traffic Department announced the implementation of a different traffic management plan during Thursday evening, covering the afternoon, evening, and post-dinner periods, with enhanced monitoring in commercial markets and entertainment areas.

Captain Musab Al-Marayat, Operations Room Officer at the Traffic Department, said that traffic patrols had been deployed since the early morning hours at the entrances and exits of the capital, major intersections, and roads leading to schools and universities to monitor traffic flow and address any obstacles that could affect its movement.

Al-Marayat added that officers dealt on Thursday morning with a disabled vehicle after the Al-Dhahir Bridge exit for traffic coming from Qusour Bridge, on Al-Istiqlal Street before the Interior Circle. The incident affected traffic flow and caused congestion before the vehicle was removed and the resulting traffic backlog was cleared.

He noted that traffic movement remains smooth at a number of key intersections across the capital, stressing that traffic teams continue to monitor conditions both on the ground and through the operations room and surveillance cameras, while prioritizing lanes and directions experiencing the highest traffic volumes.
