Ammon News - AMMAN Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Khaled Karaki discussed with Regional Director of World Food Program (WFP) for Middle East, Central Asia and Eastern Europe Al-Dali Balqasmi school feeding program.

Karaki reiterated his ministry's keenness to implement the scheme and achieve His Majesty King Abdullah's directives to include as many students as possible.

This project, he said, is part of the whole educational process.

The WFP cooperates with the ministry to execute the school feeding project, as food security and good nutrition of children are considered a common goal of the two sides.

As part of the joint cooperation between the Ministry and the WFP, a number of workshops for school nutrition supervisors would be held at the Ministry of Education's premises.

The workshops will aim to increase awareness of supervisors on school feeding principles.
