Vegetable exports to UAE did not stop, minister

Ammon News - AMMAN Jordan's exports of vegetables to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are continuing and have not been halted as the UAE is a major importer of Jordanian farm produce, Minister of Agriculture Mazen Khasawneh said.

The minister told Petra that latest data and analysis of vegetables exported to the Gulf Arab country showed that products met food quality and safety criteria and denied that exports had stopped.

He was commenting on reports that UAE authorities have imposed a ban on Jordanian vegetable imports.
