Ammon News - An official spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army announced that the Kingdom was targeted by a missile attack originating from Iranian territory over the past few hours.
Jordanian air defense systems engaged 13 ballistic missiles that breached the Kingdom's airspace, successfully intercepting and destroying 10 of them, while three missiles landed in remote, uninhabited areas.
The spokesperson confirmed that the threat was handled in accordance with established operational procedures. Praise be to God, no injuries or casualties were recorded, and specialized response teams immediately secured the impact sites to guarantee public safety.
The Armed Forces urged citizens to steer clear of any unknown debris or falling objects, refraining from touching or moving them, and to report any findings immediately to the proper authorities.
