12-08-2026 02:30 PM

Ammon News - Israeli military drones carried out successive strikes since Wednesday morning on the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, a Jordan News Agency (Petra) correspondent reported.

The drones simultaneously dropped phosphorus shells on the "strategic" Ali al-Taher hill in Nabatieh and explosive materials on forested areas near Beit Yahoun and Aayta Ej Jabal of Bent-Jbayl district, a Lebanese security source told the Petra correspondent in Beirut.

The source added that the Israeli army carried out heavy detonations in the occupied town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, destroying a public school and a health clinic. The source said additional detonations were recorded in Wadi al-Saluki.

Israeli tanks and bulldozers advanced toward hills near Kfar Shouba, a liberated Lebanese town bordering the occupied Shebaa Farms, the source stated.
