Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti received US Senator Joni Ernst, a member of the US Senate Committe on Armed Services, at the General Command headquarters on Sunday.

During a meeting held at the headquarters of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arb Army, Huneiti and Ernst discussed ways to strengthen military and defense cooperation between Jordan and the United States, particularly in joint training, knowledge exchange, capacity-building, and coordination areas.

The US ambassador, the defense attaché in Amman, and several senior JAF officers attended the meeting.
