Israeli forces convert 4 Palestinian homes into military posts

30-07-2026 03:18 PM

Ammon News - Israeli occupation forces converted 4 Palestinian homes into military posts and began clearing land for a new settlement outpost in the northern occupied West Bank on Thursday.

In the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, local council officials reported Israeli soldiers raided the area early in the morning and seized four residential homes for military use. Troops also mounted operations in the area between Tell and the neighboring town of Sarra.

Meanwhile, northeast of Jenin, Israeli forces began clearing and leveling land to establish a new settlement outpost on village property in Faqqu'a.

In a statement, Faqqu'a Village Council President Barakat Omari said occupation forces claimed the site for heavy machinery and work crews after building a military access road connecting the area to the main road between Faqqu'a and Arabbuna.

Omari noted the work is taking place on land adjacent to the separation barrier. He added that Israeli authorities had previously built a road in the area under land seizure orders, issued in 2008 before moving forward with the construction of the new settlement outpost.

He warned the outpost would separate the villages of Arabbuna and Faqqu'a and prevent hundreds of Palestinians from accessing their farmland.
