Ammon News - A responsible military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down four drones coming from Iran and targeting the Kingdom’s territory on Wednesday morning.
The source said the interception and downing operation resulted in no casualties or material damage.
The source added that Royal Engineering Corps teams moved to the locations where debris fell, handled the remnants, and secured the sites in accordance with established technical and security procedures.
The source affirmed that the armed forces continue to monitor Jordan’s airspace and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to respond to any threat targeting the Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens.
