Ammon News - Sounds of explosions were heard over the city of Aqaba on Wednesday morning, following missile interceptions after the detection of missile launches from Iran toward the city.

Hebrew media also reported hearing explosions in Eilat following what they described as an Iranian attack targeting Aqaba.

Media reports said an Israeli civilian aircraft turned back after missiles were launched toward Aqaba.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, air raid sirens sounded in Aqaba to alert citizens of a potential threat. Authorities urged residents to follow safety instructions and remain in secure locations until an official announcement confirms that the danger has passed.
