PM inspects progress of Jerash Eco-Tourism Village Project

Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan inspected the progress of work on the Jerash Eco-Tourism Village Project during a field tour in northern Jordan on Tuesday.

The visit marked the Prime Minister’s third visit to the project, which has reached 60% completion and is set to become a new and diverse tourism destination in Jerash Governorate.

The Jerash Eco-Tourism Village project extends over an area of 210 dunums and is located in a mountainous area overlooking the Jerash, Dibeen, and Tal Al-Rumman forests. It is approximately 10 minutes away from the ancient city of Jerash.

Implemented by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), the project includes an eco-lodge with a capacity of 55 rooms, a fully equipped environmental park, a theater, adventure and recreational areas, family and children’s facilities, a visitor center, restaurants, and a conference hall with a capacity of 200 people.

The project will also provide space to showcase and market products made by members of the local community, supporting sustainable tourism and local economic development.
